Help get the word out to pass the Equal Rights Amendment Campaign in New York State for the November election. The Lexington Democratic Club is co-hosting canvassing and phone banking with the Four Freedoms Democratic Club.

Right now, New York’s State Constitution leaves many New Yorkers unprotected. This amendment — Prop 1 — would close those loopholes by prohibiting government discrimination based on a person’s ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, and sex — including LGBT, pregnancy, and abortion rights. Prop 1 will ensure New Yorkers keep and protect what they want most: fundamental reproductive rights, without political interference.
