Vote Blue Buses to Swing Districts!
It’s time to get on a bus, knock on doors, and fight for democracy—and our fundamental freedoms and rights.
Vote Blue is an umbrella organization of New York City political clubs and progressive groups dedicated to electing Democrats up and down the ballot. Vote Blue is a successor to Keep PA Blue (2004) and Make Congress Blue (2018). We will campaign for key congressional candidates in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. Our strategy is: flip the House, hold the Senate, and keep Donald Trump out of the White House! The American people are the beneficiaries.
It’s all on the line this year—abortion rights and reproductive health, the right to vote and free and fair elections, LGBTQ+ freedoms, climate change, a living wage, and more. That’s why we need YOU.
Vote Blue will be sending canvassing buses to districts within a 100-mile radius of New York City. No prior experience is needed: volunteers are trained on the bus, often with additional training at the campaign field houses. We cover everything, including your lunch.
Our buses will start in September, and run every Saturday through Election Day, including all GOTV dates.
Anyone is welcome to join us on a bus - and we’ll also have postcarding and phone banks, too. We ask for a $10 voluntary contribution from bus riders but waive the fee for students or according to need. We also ask organizations and individuals to help sustain this effort by becoming sponsoring angels.
