Reid Aronson - Reid lives on the Upper East Side with his wife and son. He serves on the New York County Democratic Committee, and is a member of the Lexington Democratic Club. He attended the University of Chicago and the University of Michigan Law School, and has been a practicing attorney since 2010.


Vanessa Aronson - Current club president and enthusiastic Lex Club member since 2016. Two-term CB8 member, former Foreign Service Officer and NYC public school teacher now working in nonprofit strategy. Alum of UChicago, Harvard, and Relay Graduate School of Education. Committed to continuing Lex Club's legacy as the first Reform Club.


Lynn Berger - Currently serve proudly in the Lex Club as Executive Vice  President and have been a Judicial Delegate for the past four years. Work as a Career Counselor and Executive Coach in private practice.  I have lived and worked on the Upper East Side for the past 20+ years.


Gwendolyn (Lynn) Blackstone - After a number of years as an  Alternate Judicial Delegate, I was elected and served as a Judicial Delegate last year.  I look forward to continuing in this active role.  My relevant experience includes legal research and second-seating at trials in the Supreme Court of New York and Bronx Counties with the law firm of David Blackstone, Esq.

Meryl Brodsky - District Leader, 73rd A.D., Part A, NY County Executive Member. Policy Analyst, Economist, held state and city appointments; Director, Turtle Bay Association and Friends of Dag Hammarskjold Plaza;  Public Member, Community Board #8; former council candidate. Running for judicial delegate 2024 to participate in the selection of the best judges.


Peter F Eurich - Longtime resident of UES, Retired executive of large International Company, serve on two nonprofit Boards, Vice President of one, managed a major national figure skating competition for several years, and a member of the County Committee


Vlad Frants - I am a former federal court law clerk, trial attorney, and adjunct professor active in the UES community.  CB8 Public Member; P.S. 6 SLT; recent addition to Lex Club ExComm.  I believe in supporting qualified judicial candidates who have a demonstrated commitment to fairness and justice.


Howard Freedman - My name is Howard Freedman. I am a graduate of Cardozo School of Law and admitted to the New York State Bar since 1984. I also have an MBA from Baruch College. I have extensive legal experience and knowledge of the State judicial process. I live on the UES.


Ari J. Hirt - Ari J. Hirt, who serves on the County Committee, is a Managing Director at Walker & Dunlop, where he Is involved in the firm’s placement and execution efforts for commercial real estate loans. Ari also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Finance at Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business, and volunteers for many Jewish causes.


Yael Jekogian - I serve on the Leadership Team of Markers For Democracy, a grassroots organization mobilizing activists and voters focused on saving American democracy. I focus on get-out-the-vote efforts for Democratic candidates in tight races and flipping red state legislatures blue. Interested in voter education, diverse perspectives and collaborative decision-making.


Margaret (Maggie) Joyce - A life-long NYC democrat, currently on Lex Club Executive Committee. I served as an alternate judicial delegate last year, and would be honored to represent the club again this year. 


Brian Krist - Lifelong Democrat and Manhattanite.  Been on the UES for 12 years with my wife and girls.  I am a court attorney in Manhattan Civil Court, was a  litigator before joining the court system, and I want to make sure we have the quality judges we deserve in Manhattan.  


Virginia Maloney - Born and raised UES. Proud democrat, current ExComm member, and 2023 judicial delegate. My day job is in tech in product management. In my free time, I help get east side Dems elected. Worked for NYCEDC and Deloitte Government Consulting. Alum of Spence, Groton, Princeton, HKS, and MIT Sloan.


Robin Marsico - Litigator in private practice for many years, now a court attorney in the State court system. Long-time club member – has petitioned and campaigned for club candidates, and was a judicial campaign treasurer, District Leader, Ex-Com member, Judicial Convention delegate/alternate, County Committee member. Also plays drums in a rock band.


Mark McKew - Longtime UES resident, prior judicial delegate, and current LDC Treasurer.  My experience litigating in state and federal courts to resolve disputes in business, logistics, and transportation, has made me determined to enhance the diversity, fairness, and capabilities of our judiciary; I hope to accomplish that goal as judicial delegate.

Kim Miller - I have been a Lex ExCom member fo four years and have been Recording Secretary for two years. I have been a practicing attorney for twenty years. I’m dedicated to furthering the goals of the Lex Club and fairness within the courts.

Barbara Rudder - I’ve been an active Democrat my entire life as Democratic Chair in my NJ town, and as an volunteer petitioning and supporting candidates. As chair of committees of Community Board 8M, I’ve hosted meetings dealing with our judicial system, and therefore want to get involved as a Judicial Delegate.

I've had years of experience petitioning, campaigning and currently serve on the Lex Club Executive Board. Steve Shapiro - A practicing attorney and a long-time Lex Club  member, has extensive experience as member of judicial screening panels, judicial campaigns and with campaign finance and election matters.


Russell Squire - I am a past President of the Lex Club and former Chair of Community Board 8, currently serving as District Leader. I have been a judicial delegate for several years. I am also an attorney. I am committed to continuing our tradition of supporting qualified judges who share our values.
